STRONG BODY. STRONG MIND. STRONG HUMAN.
My morning routine has become my saving grace. Specifically paying attention to what my inner voice says to me the moment I wake up. It use to say some pretty cruel things, and then of course my day would not go so well. Some mornings it still tries to rear its ugly head so soon after I wake up, I silence it with a voice of my own creation. On Some days I take a shortcut. Here is a 5 minute clip from a video I listen to some mornings to help create this new dialogue within me. Take a look if you wish and use it for yourself if you find it useful.
"Never go to sleep without a request to your subconscious." -Thomas Edison
Wait a second.
I almost forgot for a moment. I did forget. How my morning routine starts not the moment I wake up but the hour before I lay my head to sleep the night before.
Give the mind an overnight task on a daily basis, write down the problems and opportunities in a notebook that you want your mind to work on overnight.
Never go to bed without giving your mind a task to work on through the night wile you sleep.
This is what I remind myself to do today. Everyday. Every night. And then so to will be, that today will be better than yesterday. Why, yes...today is going to be a good day!
